Sending data via email ...file is too large to send

How can I export 400,000 plus records from a point feature class to excel and send it in an email? Someone told me to save it as a .txt file and it could open in Excel. I tried sending it in an email but it says that the file is too large...I attempted to compress the file but I lost some data.
