GIS based environmental sustainability evaluation of a neighborhood using indicators

I am working on a project for GIS based environmental sustainability evaluation of a neighborhood using indicators. Does anyone has some relevant experience of working on such approach. My target is to bring overall environmental sustainability level of that neighborhood in a mapped shape. (using ArcGIS). Thanks
