Automatic temperature map with PostGIS?

I need to do a temperatures map or isotherms map from a table of points in PostGIS. Do you know the better way to do it automatically (I've been using qgis instead)? I need to serve this information in a webside and has to be updated taking in account the temperature data in the table.
