Im currently doing a project on yearly precipitation of USA for 48 states. As I did a research many people use IDW and Kringing to make a precipitation map, but my teacher said that IDW is not going to be a good idea and he suggest me to use Natural Neighbour. I kinda confuse why natural neighbour is good. Does anyone can give me a suggestion what is the best interpolation for precipitation map?
